Noe Valley is popular with young families and singles due to its busy, increasingly upscale commercial district and large stock of still-affordable homes. Here you’ll find plenty of condos and single-family homes as well as multi-unit buildings, some of which have been converted to condominiums. Condos are generally $750,000 or more, while a modest, single-family home with a large backyard and a garage is $1 million and up. The sunny valley offers convenient access to MUNI streetcars, Highway 280, Dolores Park and 24th Street shopping. The sometimes foggy and windy hillsides (toward Twin Peaks) offer stunning views.
